A transplant from the midwest with a contagious laugh - Maysen arrived in Bocas 12 years ago drawn by a plethora of great waves, warm water, and reggae. Madysen instantly felt at home and she now splits her time between Panama and California combining her passion for surfing and her love for the water as an experienced boat captain and surf instructor speaking both Spanish and English.
Juan Juan
I was born in Uruguay and have been living on a sailboat since I was three months old. My family and I arrived in the archipelago of Bocas Del Toro when I was seven years of age. I started to surf when I was 11 and loved it. I quickly got into competitions and was able to travel the world a bit through my Surfing. Now I dedicate most of my time to free surfing and riding bigger waves.I’ve been coaching for the past nine years. and love the process of explaining and deepening the understanding around Surf techniques for my guests and students.
Gloria
Argentine-born and ocean-driven, she found her home in Panama 12 years ago. Since then, she has built a life deeply connected to the sea and nature, embracing a conscious, simple lifestyle shaped by surfing, diving, and the natural world around her.
